Vibration Measuring (Private)

Vibration monitors are usually mounted on the buildings situated closest to the worksite. Before the work starts, we normally carry out a risk analysis, which includes a plan of the measuring points, as well as the vibration limit values for the respective buildings. Not necessarily all buildings around the worksite are monitored.

The vibration sensor is usually mounted in the building’s foundations. To do this, we drill an eight millimeter hole into the foundation, into which we place a small expander. We then screw the sensor into the expander. Since the hole is relatively small, it does not affect the function of the building. However, if you would like any such hole drilled into your building to be filled and sealed when vibration measuring is complete, please contact Nitro Consult.
